Job Description
· Perform configurations (FIX Connections, Reports, GUI, User Permissions, etc.)
· Certify new FIX connections with Exchanges, Brokerage firms, and FIX/OMS providers.
· Certify existing FIX connections with Exchange(s), Brokerage firm(s), and FIX/OMS provider(s) for new functionality or upgrades.
· Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) assistance to new FIX/OMS vendors in certifying connections.
· Coordinate with network teams to establish connectivity and assist in resolving connectivity issues.
· Coordinate with FIX networks to establish FIX connections and keep clients updated on the progress.
· Coordinate with clients and/or networks for day-to-day establishment requests of FIX connections.
· Coordinate with clients/Counterparties/clearing firms to implement required reports and ensure the delivery of reports.
· Perform post-production tests to ensure all components are working as expected before the client goes live.
· Provide daily and weekly updates to internal teams on customer implementation progress.
· Meet deadlines for the execution and closing of the project
· Testing, identifying, and diagnosing functionality errors (in UAT) within established testing protocols.
· Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
· Manage users’ requests/queries: track requests, review approvals, updates, resolution through to closure, etc.
· Oversee automated processes, scheduled jobs, and regular reporting as well as technical infrastructure, customer activity & trade flow.
· Investigate real-time production issues (Server-side, FIX level, GUI Level, etc.), ensure timely resolution, and escalate issues to the appropriate group (QA or Development) if an immediate solution is not available.
· Conduct project scoping and analyze client requirements.
· Provide a statement of work (SOW) and estimate the work hours involved for various teams.
· Daily review and update of Certifications Tickets on Sharepoint/CRM
· Ensure proper documentation and storage of all FIX-related activities and correspondence with clients/Brokers and/or other vendors in the ERP system.
· Work on new client implementations, ensuring every component is in place well before they go live to guarantee a smooth transition.
· Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) assistance to new FIX/OMS vendors in certifying connections.
· Certify new FIX connections with Exchanges, Brokerage firms, and FIX/OMS providers.
· Certify existing FIX connections with Exchange(s), Brokerage firm(s), and FIX/OMS provider(s) for new functionality or upgrades.
· Perform configurations (FIX Connections, Reports, GUI, User Permissions, etc.).
· Managing and directing Day to day-to-day operational tasks.
· Responsible for maintaining Client's UAT and Production environments for seamless Electronic trading and client allocations.
· Reporting to higher management about the progress of Client implementations and projects.
· Creating and reviewing technical documentation such as procedural, instructional and operational guides and manuals, technical reports, specifications, and testing scripts.
· Supervise a team of trained individuals to answer support calls and emails, ensuring inquiries and reported issues are dealt with utmost priority.
· Provide daily and weekly updates to internal teams on customer implementation progress.
· Meet deadlines for the execution and closing of projects.
Requirements
- Excellent English (written and spoken),
- Tech-savvy approach to problem-solving,
- Ability to work US hours, if needed.
